Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable and unacceptable use of all services provided by HostLaza ("HostLaza", "we", "us", or "our") through https://www.hostlaza.com. The purpose of this Policy is to maintain a secure, stable, and fair hosting environment for all customers and to prevent misuse of our infrastructure.

By creating an account or using any HostLaza service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy. This AUP forms part of your complete agreement with HostLaza, which also includes:

HostLaza services must be used exclusively for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not harm our servers, network infrastructure, or other customers. You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your hosting account, including:

• All content published or stored within your account
• Scripts, applications, plugins, and software installed under your account
• Visitor interactions and activity on your hosted website
• Actions taken by any third party you grant access to your account

You may not use HostLaza services for any activity that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive under applicable law. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Hosting, distributing, or facilitating access to illegal content of any kind
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits, endangers, or harms minors
• Copyright infringement, piracy, or distribution of content without the rights holder's authorisation
• Phishing websites, fraudulent landing pages, or any form of online deception
• Hacking attempts, brute-force attacks, or any unauthorised access to third-party systems
• Distribution of malware, ransomware, spyware, trojans, or any malicious software
• Launching or facilitating Denial-of-Service (DoS) or Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks
• Harassment, threats, stalking, or incitement of violence against any individual or group
• Sale or promotion of illegal substances, weapons, or controlled goods without proper legal authorisation

HostLaza does not permit the use of its services to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or any email communication that violates applicable anti-spam laws. Email services included with hosting plans are intended exclusively for normal, legitimate business communication.

HostLaza has a zero-tolerance policy for phishing, fraud, and any form of online deception. No HostLaza service may be used to deceive, mislead, or defraud individuals or organisations.

• Creating or hosting phishing pages that impersonate legitimate brands, banks, or services to steal credentials
• Operating fraudulent e-commerce stores designed to collect payments without delivering goods or services
• Running scam websites, fake lottery platforms, or fraudulent prize-claiming services
• Identity theft — collecting, distributing, or misusing personal information without consent
• Operating High-Yield Investment Programs (HYIP), Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or similar fraudulent financial platforms

HostLaza servers must not be used to develop, store, host, or distribute software or scripts that are designed to compromise, damage, or exploit computer systems, networks, or users.

If malicious software is detected on an account, HostLaza may suspend the account immediately, remove the offending files, and notify the account holder of the steps required to restore service.

The following types of content, software, scripts, and platforms are not permitted on HostLaza servers under any circumstances:

HostLaza hosting services are designed for normal website traffic and standard online activity. To maintain network stability and fair access for all customers, the following network usage restrictions apply:

All hosting accounts must use server resources responsibly and in a manner consistent with normal website operations. Hosting resources — including storage, CPU, RAM, and bandwidth — are intended for active website files, databases, and website-related tasks only.

• Using hosting storage for personal or business backup archives is not permitted
• Running resource-intensive background processes, daemons, or scheduled tasks that cause sustained high CPU or RAM usage is prohibited
• Hosting non-website data, bulk file dumps, or large media libraries is not allowed
• Operating cryptocurrency miners or similar CPU-intensive applications is strictly prohibited

HostLaza has a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of network attack originating from or targeting its infrastructure. The following activities are absolutely prohibited:

• Launching or participating in Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks against any target
• Sending malformed network packets or exploiting protocol vulnerabilities
• Conducting port scans, IP sweeps, or network reconnaissance against third-party systems
• Using HostLaza infrastructure as a relay or intermediary for attacks against external networks
• Operating botnet clients or command-and-control infrastructure for botnets

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your HostLaza account and all software running within it. HostLaza is not liable for security incidents caused by weak passwords, outdated software, or insecure configurations that you are responsible for maintaining.

By using HostLaza services, you accept the following responsibilities as the account holder:

To protect our infrastructure, all customers, and the integrity of our network, HostLaza may monitor server and network activity for signs of abuse, policy violations, or security threats. This monitoring is conducted strictly for operational and security purposes.

By using HostLaza services, you consent to this monitoring. HostLaza will endeavour to notify affected customers before taking action where it is safe and practical to do so.

If a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy is identified, HostLaza reserves the right to take appropriate enforcement action. Actions taken will be proportionate to the severity of the violation.

Account suspension is a temporary measure taken when a violation is detected and a resolution is being sought. A suspended account cannot access services, but data is typically retained during the suspension period while the matter is under review.

Permanent termination results in the complete deletion of the account, all associated data, and the cancellation of all services. Termination may occur in the following circumstances:

• Repeated or unresolved violations of this Policy after suspension
• Confirmed involvement in illegal activities, cybercrime, or law enforcement investigations
• Deliberate harm to HostLaza's infrastructure, network, or reputation
• Non-payment of overdue invoices resulting in extended service suspension

HostLaza takes all abuse reports seriously. If you have identified content, behaviour, or activity on HostLaza's network that you believe violates this Policy, applicable law, or constitutes a security threat, we encourage you to report it promptly.

• The most recent version published on this page is always the current and legally binding version
• Customers are responsible for reviewing this page periodically to remain aware of any changes
• Continued use of any HostLaza service after an update is published constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy
