This Unlimited Usage Policy ("Policy") explains how HostLaza's hosting resources are made available and how they should be used responsibly. At HostLaza, our hosting plans are built to give customers flexibility as their websites grow. When we say "unlimited," our intention is to remove small technical limits — not to allow misuse of shared server resources.

The server environment is shared across multiple customers. To ensure consistent performance and reliability for everyone, usage must remain reasonable, balanced, and aligned with the purpose of each hosting plan. This Policy applies to all hosting plans offered by HostLaza, including:

By using any HostLaza service, you agree to use hosting resources responsibly and in full compliance with this Policy. This Policy forms part of your agreement with HostLaza alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

The term "unlimited" refers to the removal of fixed technical caps on specific resources — such as disk space or the number of websites you can host — so that your website can grow without hitting an artificial ceiling. It does not mean that our servers have unlimited physical capacity.

Unlimited hosting is designed to support real, active websites. As long as your usage represents typical website behavior — loading pages, serving visitors, sending business emails, and running a standard CMS — you can continue to use resources freely and without interruption.

HostLaza's Unlimited hosting plans are designed to support real, active web presence. The following use cases represent appropriate and intended uses of unlimited resources:

Unlimited hosting plans are intended exclusively for website hosting. The following uses are strictly prohibited as they consume excessive server resources and negatively impact performance for all customers on the shared server:

• Backup storage systems or personal data archives
• File dumping, bulk file storage, or archiving solutions
• Video libraries, movie repositories, or media content archives
• Audio or video streaming platforms that serve large media files
• File-sharing or download mirror platforms (similar to Rapidshare, Mega, etc.)
• Cloud storage services or personal document repositories
• Image hosting platforms for third-party use
• Any activity that continuously consumes excessive CPU, RAM, or disk I/O

Shared Hosting plans are designed for individual websites or small web projects. Because server resources are shared across multiple customers, the activity of any single account can directly affect the experience of others on the same server.

Storage space on Shared Hosting plans is provided for website files, databases, and email related to an active website. It must not be used as a personal file storage or backup repository. As a general guideline, individual accounts are expected to stay within practical storage limits relative to the plan selected.

Unlimited Hosting plans remove fixed storage and bandwidth caps, allowing websites to grow naturally without predefined quotas. These plans are ideal for growing businesses, multi-page websites, online stores, and active blogs.

Despite the absence of a fixed storage cap, storage usage is expected to stay within reasonable levels consistent with normal website operations. If storage grows to an extent that suggests non-website use — such as bulk file uploads or media archives — HostLaza reserves the right to request removal of non-compliant content.

Reseller Hosting plans allow you to create and manage multiple cPanel accounts under a single WHM dashboard, enabling you to host websites for your clients. All reseller accounts are expected to follow fair usage rules to maintain server stability.

In most cases, HostLaza follows a structured resolution process before final termination:

A backup of the affected account is generally provided before final termination. However, no backup will be available after termination if the issue remains unresolved following multiple warnings.

Master Reseller Hosting allows you to create and manage multiple reseller accounts, enabling you to build a complete hosting business. All Master Reseller accounts operate within the shared server environment and are subject to the same fair usage principles.

HostLaza applies the same structured warning and suspension process for Master Reseller accounts as for standard reseller accounts. If excessive resource usage or policy violations are detected, HostLaza will work with you to resolve the issue through a fair and transparent process before taking any final action.

Alpha Reseller Hosting is HostLaza's highest-tier reseller plan, offering the maximum available resources for large-scale reseller operations. While Alpha Reseller plans provide significantly higher resource allocations, all fair usage principles and this Policy continue to apply without exception.

In cases where Alpha Reseller account usage consistently approaches or exceeds levels that impact server stability, HostLaza may recommend upgrading to a dedicated server environment or a WHM Root Server for complete resource isolation.

Each hosting account on HostLaza's shared servers is allocated defined CPU and RAM limits through cPanel's resource management system. These limits exist to ensure a stable and fair environment for all customers on the server.

Storage space is provided to support website-related data only. This includes website files, CMS installations, themes, plugins, databases, and email data that are directly required for the operation of an active website.

HostLaza services should not be used as:

• Personal or business backup storage systems
• File dumping or archiving solutions
• Media libraries for videos, movies, or large audio files
• Download or file-sharing platforms

If storage usage grows beyond reasonable levels, HostLaza may contact you and request that unnecessary or non-compliant files be removed, or recommend a transition to a more appropriate hosting solution.

Databases should be used responsibly and optimised regularly. Extremely large or poorly optimised databases can significantly impact server performance and query response times for all customers sharing the same database server.

Multiple databases may be created per account, but each database must remain within reasonable size limits. Databases used to store non-website data — such as bulk data exports, analytics archives, or application logs — are not permitted on shared hosting servers.

Email accounts included with hosting plans are intended for normal business communication. Each email account should remain within reasonable storage limits to prevent excessive disk usage and to ensure reliable email delivery for all customers.

If an email account accumulates excessive storage and begins affecting server performance, HostLaza may request a cleanup of old emails or may temporarily restrict email access until the storage usage is reduced to an acceptable level.

HostLaza does not impose strict bandwidth caps on hosting accounts for normal website traffic. Websites are free to receive visitors and serve content to users without incurring additional charges for standard bandwidth usage.

• Using hosting accounts as traffic relay nodes, proxies, or anonymisers
• Facilitating illegal downloads or serving pirated content
• Operating file-sharing or torrent-indexing platforms
• Hosting content that serves as a download mirror for large files
• Streaming large video or audio files to end users at scale

Repeated misuse of bandwidth may lead to suspension of the affected service until the underlying cause is resolved.

HostLaza may provide backup facilities as a courtesy service. Any backups generated by HostLaza are for disaster recovery purposes only and are not guaranteed to be available at all times.

HostLaza's hosting plans operate in a shared environment. Fair usage is the principle that ensures all customers on a shared server receive consistent, reliable performance. No single account should consume a disproportionate share of server resources at the expense of other customers.

HostLaza continuously monitors server resource usage to identify accounts that may be negatively affecting overall server performance. If such an account is identified, our team will reach out with specific guidance and a reasonable timeframe to resolve the issue.

HostLaza defines resource abuse as any pattern of usage that negatively and consistently affects server performance, disrupts the service quality of other customers, or violates the terms of this Policy.

When resource abuse is detected, HostLaza reserves the right to take the following actions — escalating progressively based on the severity and persistence of the issue:

Maintaining server stability is a shared responsibility. HostLaza takes a proactive approach to monitoring and protecting the performance of its servers for the benefit of all customers.

Customers can help maintain server stability by keeping all CMS software, themes, and plugins up to date, regularly optimising databases, and removing unused or outdated files from their hosting accounts.

Unlimited plans at HostLaza are designed to support personal and small-to-medium business websites without the friction of strict technical barriers. As long as your usage aligns with normal website behaviour and does not harm server stability, you can continue to use resources freely.

If usage patterns begin to create performance risks for other users on the same server, HostLaza may recommend moving to a VPS or dedicated server solution for better performance and complete resource isolation.

To avoid any misunderstanding, HostLaza's "unlimited" hosting plans do not include the following:

• Unlimited physical server resources — CPU, RAM, and disk I/O are finite and shared
• Unlimited file storage for non-website content such as backups, archives, or media libraries
• Unlimited server capacity for running resource-intensive applications, background daemons, or intensive cron jobs
• Unlimited email storage beyond what is reasonable for business communication
• Unlimited database sizes without regard for performance impact
• Enterprise-level workloads or high-concurrency applications on shared hosting infrastructure

HostLaza's shared hosting environment is optimised for small to medium-sized websites. If your website or application has grown to a point where it consistently requires more resources than a shared hosting plan can provide, an upgrade is the right solution — not a workaround.

In such cases, HostLaza may recommend upgrading to a higher-tier hosting plan, a VPS, or a dedicated server for complete performance isolation. Our support team is available to help you identify the most suitable solution for your needs.
